Note:  It may turn out that I am not allowed (by law) to sell these rootlets until September. The website for the Arkansas Plant Board isn't very clear, but I am awaiting a response to some questions. When I find out whether I can sell these as nursery stock outside of  the legal harvest/selling I will resume taking orders. At any rate, I will have them if you still want them in Fall if it turns out I have to wait until then.

I am now taking orders/reservations for American ginseng rootlets. They will be ready for shipment in late September. Bare-root plants will be shipped
. My prices are a little more expensive than most you will find listed on the web. However, most growers  are using chemical fertilizers and fungicides on their plants. Mine are all organic, they have never had any fertilizers or fungicides applied and I have not used herbicides to clear the beds. They have been planted either directly into pots filled with native soil or directly into the ground, no tilling has ever been used other than my hand rake to pull the leaves back from the forest floor. Roots that have been grown in tilled soil will not look wild! Wild root buyers from my area will not even make an offer on roots grown this way. These that I am offering will look identical to wild roots and can be sold to wild root buyers in 7-10 years if you do not till the place where you plant them.

Prices for the bare-root plants are below:

Qty:

Price/ea:

1-50 $2.00
51-100 $1.00
101+ $0.80
